As Senior Designer at EcoVue, Peggy Murphy specializes in cartography and the design and management of mapping databases. She has experience setting up and maintaining geodatabases, processing spatial data, and creating numerous types of maps and plans to represent data as accurately as possible and to communicate its intended purpose.

As a registered member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and with her years of civil engineering design experience Peggy is highly recognized for her excellent skills in road design, condominium and subdivision concept layouts and site plans.

She has extensive experience in the design and production of Official Plan, Secondary Plan and Zoning By-law Schedules for municipalities, as well as draft plans of subdivision and condominium and thematic maps. She creates maps which aid in the decision-making process of land management and development planning and takes part in developing project-specific databases used for feasibility studies, impact assessments and constraint identification.

Peggy uses AutoCAD Map 3D and ArcView to prepare her drawings, accessing spatial data through the Land Information Ontario data base.
