Ken Hurford joined the EcoVue team in September of 2015. Prior to joining EcoVue, Ken was Manager of Planning at the Municipality of Brighton for 12 years and before that was a Senior Planner in the Cobourg office of Totten Sims Hubicki Associates (TSH) for 16 years. Overall, Ken has about 30 years of planning experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Trent University, a Supervisory Studies Certificate from the Ontario Management Development Program and a Municipal Management Certificate from Loyalist College. Ken is a Full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. He is a Registered Professional Planner in the Province of Ontario. Ken is also a member of the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario.
Ken has worked extensively on a range of planning applications in his career – often as a reviewer on behalf of a municipality or as the representative of an applicant. He has assisted numerous municipalities with updating local official plans and zoning by-laws.
