Derek Pokora joined EcoVue in 2022 as a land use planner after working as a consultant in the affordable housing sector for five years.
After graduating with a Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2016, Derek moved to Ottawa to work with Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation (CCOC) and Cahdco. Working with non-profit and affordable housing providers as a Development Project Coordinator, Derek provided support on predominantly low-rise, infill housing projects throughout all phases of non-profit real estate development, from feasibility analysis and funding applications to design/development, construction, and to occupancy.
